Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum (Arabic: ٱلـشَّـيْـخ رَاشِـد بِـن سَـعِـيْـد آل مَـكْـتُـوْم, romanized: Ash-Shaykh Rāshid bin Sa`īd Āl Maktūm; 11 June 1912 – 7 October 1990) was the vice-president and second prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler (Arabic: حاكم, romanized: Hakim) of the Emirate of Dubai. He ruled the emirate for 32 years from 1958 until his death in 1990.
