Manetho (; Koinē Greek: Μανέθων Manéthōn, gen.: Μανέθωνος) is believed to have been an Egyptian priest from Sebennytos (Coptic: Ϫⲉⲙⲛⲟⲩϯ, romanized: Čemnouti) who lived in the Ptolemaic Kingdom in the early third century BC, during the Hellenistic period.
